This week was productive as I solidified my ideas for Project 3. I’ve chosen the theme of “Food and Drink” with the audience of “gamers.” Though this project seems challenging, I look forward to learning and expanding my knowledge in UX and UI design.
I started the week brainstorming ideas for Project 3. Initially, I overthought each theme and audience, but once I allowed myself to have fun with it, ideas flowed more freely. I ultimately chose “Food and Drink” combined with “gamers” as it aligns with my interests and offers a fun and immersive experience.
The concept is a restaurant where customers choose games to play, and the meal is themed around that game. For instance, Minecraft-inspired food with square-shaped dishes. I believe this concept will provide an exciting experience for all ages.
I began considering the sitemap and wireframes to make the website engaging. The sitemap outlined initial ideas for navigation, while the wireframes visually represented the website structure. These are early-stage concepts, but they provide a foundation for future development.
Overall, this week has been successful, and I’m excited to see how this project evolves. I’m also contemplating analyzing another company for Project 2 to gain insights into good and not-so-great design examples.
