The week following the Easter break was quite intense, as we focused on refining our designs and sharing feedback with each other to improve our work as much as possible.
In my designed pages, I aimed to keep the content from the original “About Us” page, since our team agreed it was important. To make the layout more engaging, I experimented with text styles, fonts, and positioning while retaining the signature white and bright red colours of Virgin Wines. I also explored different ways to present the information to make it visually appealing.
Despite this setback, I made some positive progress this week. I reached out to several agencies for potential summer internships and was offered an interview for a one-day-a-week internship at TempleBrown, a web design agency in Norwich. I’m really excited about this opportunity.
Additionally, I was commissioned to create some icons for a coffee pod company. This project was a valuable learning experience because it gave me a taste of working with clients and adapting to their feedback. It was an opportunity to understand what it’s like to work in the real world and ensure the final product meets both the client’s and my own expectations.
