This week I finished my app promo video, finalised the App Store images and the Figma design file for Project 5. I also finished my essay, and started my presentation slides and portfolio.

This week, I made good progress and feel optimistic about the unit hand in deadline. I have now mostly finished all design aspects of the app, and have focused on prototyping which is now fully functional.

This week, I really focused on getting the majority of the app fully designed, alongside making sure I had an essay draft ready for submission. I created component libraries, tweaked the colour use in the app and responded to user and tutor feedback.

This week, I aimed to focus on developing a clear brand for the app by choosing brand colours, a name, and a typeface.

In the first week of the Spring term, I focused on completing the Value Proposition Canvas to wrap up Project 4 and help plan the design, structure and content of my app for Project 5.

In the final week of term, I conducted my Expert Interview and focused on completing the majority of Project 4, including an Opportunity Solution Tree, Provisional Personas, and Empathy Maps.

At the start of this week I set out to finish Project 4 this week. While I didn’t manage to achieve that, I am pleased with the amount of progress I have made this week and I feel good about the pacing and the trajectory of the project.

Although there was no studio teaching this week due to it being Interchange, I made a good amount of Progress with project 4. I completed my domain research into problem spaces, and wrote a problem statement which helped me focus the next stages of the project.

Having mostly finished Project 3, this week I came back to Project 4. I started it in Week 5 with the group workshop task, and intended to revisit it sooner but I chose to allocate most of my time to Project 3 instead. I started my research by looking at the UN Sustainable Development goals,…

This week I finished my high fidelity mobile prototype of my experience, created a low-fidelity wireframe for desktop and mostly completed the high-fidelity prototype for desktop too.

I fairly drastically altered my project this week and rethought my ideas – and although this gave me a lot of extra work to do, it paid off and I am much happier with the state of my project and prototypes now.
