This week I finished my app promo video, finalised the App Store images and the Figma design file for Project 5. I also finished my essay, and started my presentation slides and portfolio.

Responding to feedback received during Thursday’s crit, I tweaked some of the wording in the App Store image descriptions to be more consistent and cohesive. These are now the final images I will submit.

I have also now finished my app promo/demo video, made with After Effects. I am pleased with the outcome of this, as learning After Effects was a steep learning curve. I found it challenging at first, but started working more quickly the more I used it.

I started using keyframes faster and understanding motion more easily. I added motion blur to most moving layers to make movements feel more fluid and less rigid.

I have made a start to my presentation but have mostly been focusing on the video and completing the essay. I will start next week with my presentation and then work on my portfolio alongside.
