Supporting Research – Personal Planning Folder

Before immersing myself in the research sections of my personal planning folder, I conducted primary investigations into the brands BulletProof, FoolProof, and Kurv, aiming to comprehend their distinctive design ethos, work styles, and overall creative processes.

Starting with BulletProof, a design firm that has captivated me since my initial discovery, I meticulously explored their website. Focusing on projects that resonated with me, the “Be More Triangle” campaign for Toblerone stood out prominently. The depth and thoughtfulness behind the campaign, evolving from a single idea into a comprehensive marketing initiative, left me inspired. Witnessing their transformation of Cadbury’s branding from joy to generosity further showcased their passion and adaptability, qualities I aspire to integrate into my future projects.

Transitioning to FoolProof, the allure lay in their digital-centric approach for businesses. While distinct from BulletProof’s campaign-oriented design, FoolProof’s emphasis on crafting digital products that add value fascinated me. Their corporate web design, although text-heavy, revealed a focus on online presence and functionality. Despite my preference for visually driven communication, the company’s digital expertise and diverse portfolio remained inspiring, and I look forward to exploring potential opportunities for collaboration.

Concluding my research with Kurv, the intrigue stemmed from their collaboration with renowned brands like Tesco and The North Face. Their work on impactful digital information displays for The North Face showcased a blend of creativity and functionality. Describing themselves as “a dedicated UX/UI design agency”, Kurv’s commitment to simplifying complexity and creating engaging digital products aligns seamlessly with my aspirations. Inspired by their impressive clientele, including brands I personally admire, I am eager to initiate contact and explore potential avenues for collaboration or placements.
