- About us page competitor research – Berry Bros & Rudd and Nike
This week, we began our Virgin Wines project with a lecture from Virgin Wines staff, where they explained the project brief. After the lecture, we got straight into our group work.
I chose to work with Saalihah, Emily, and Ellana—three close friends who are also great collaborators. We all communicate well and are invested in each other’s success, so I knew we’d make a strong team.
We started by creating a Miro board to outline all the research tasks we needed to complete. We organised our ideas into a simple table format to keep things clear, then divided the work evenly among the group to ensure everyone had a fair share of the workload.

Ellana and I took on the “About Us” page, while the whole group worked on the checkout page. For the “About Us” page, I handled the desktop user flow, heuristic markup. To broaden our research, we decided that each of us would explore two competitors—one from a wine company and one from another industry. This way, we could cover a wider range of insights.

By dividing the tasks like this, we ensured everyone contributed equally while covering a variety of research topics. This structured approach helped us start the project with a clear plan and a collaborative mindset.
