Workshop
As part of our first task as an introduction to the course we were assigned as a group to discuss various pain points and positives about apps and interfaces and anything else that requires interaction daily. I worked in collaboration with Lizzy, Maggie, Max and Emily to bounce ideas of each other.
For friction we discussed – the pain points that we users come across. Some examples were that YouTube now requires you to sometimes watch two ads before continuing the video and when the option to skip ad appears, it is the same length of time of the ad itself

For delight we discussed – processes and things that were of ease to us and enjoyed the experience of. For example Apple Pay, the quick and easy accessibility to pay for something. Just by using Face ID to quickly unlock the wallet and not always having to dig into your pocket or bag to access your card.
