This Monday we had our first Figma workshop. Dave talked us through whilst also demonstrating the whole process to us on the projector how to create a lock that you could open and close. You are able to slide the button across, which unlocks the lock.

As with all the other tasks and softwares I have been using for the first time, I felt it to be slightly daunting, however being in the same boat as a few other people in my class we were able to help each other. As the workshop was going on I realised that it felt quite similar to adobe XD which brought back some familiarity and confidence when using it. Overall I was quite please with the lock I created and its function.
The second workshop I took notes on which I know will help with my research for both Projects 2 and 3. I found this workshop fascinating as I love learning about the psychology in UX design and the research behind it all. In my notes I emphasised the importance of reading patterns and which is best for users, how to grab users attentions with headings, CTA buttons and analysis through primary research.
