Today we had a workshop in after effects. Dave showed us how to import files into after effects from Figma, as well as how to create the video. We were able to create a video that had elements from the workshop file he had created. I initially struggled with importing from Figma as I had never done this before however I made sure to ask for help and Dave was able to go over the task with me again which meant I had a better understanding. By creating this video in the workshop I was able to experiment how to make important elements stand out as well as experimenting with transitions and text size. Luckily I have some background knowledge and experience user adobe after effects, which meant I didn’t find it too hard navigating around the software. However implementing another skill like incorporating Figma into it challenged me a bit, but I was able to overcome this.
Overall I really enjoyed this workshop and gave me an insight into how I could create my video for my app.
