To start the week we had a workshop which Dave explained what we would be doing for the next few weeks, until interchange week. I found this really helpful as I was able to visualise what I needed done, having small milestones to work towards makes competing tasks much easier for me instead of a big chunk of work. After this briefing we went into Figma and experimented with text styles and variables which I found really interesting.
On Tuesday I updated my blog from the workshops and lectures we had. I found it really frustrating when adding images to my blog that where I had cropped the images, a completely different section of the image would show. After many attempts of perfecting it, the placement of images was finally how I wanted it. One new thing I have learnt this week is being able to change the publication date on my blogs
This week were briefed on Project 4. Project 4 simultaneously happening with project 3 is quite nerve wracking as I haven’t finished, or anywhere near to finishing project 3. I am still unsure about what I want my project 4 to be based on, however discussing ideas in the workshop to do with sustainability helped think of some potential routes for the project.
I am not sure how I would conduct my ethnographic interviews, however over the next few weeks, I am hoping to read upon it to help gain a better understanding and start my interviews. I am also slightly lost on the expert interview I could conduct, however I hope that over the next few weeks, through coming up with potential ideas I can find someone. The only reason I am looking forward to this part of the project is because I enjoy research. Research being one of the main aspects within UX, I am hoping to continue improving my approach to it over the course and refining my searches, the resources to look for and techniques.
I am looking forward to continue my project 3 as it will be the first website I would’ve create from scratch.
