Experience website – wireframes, site map and user flow
At the start of the week on Monday, I had a chat with Johnny about my ideas for this project. After this I decide to make changes to my user flow, site map and wireframes. I also took notes on further research for my project, one being for a website called culiair, as well as research based on website that focus on physical experiences, not just to do with being up in the air. I decided to do a go karting website so that my website would emulate a similar thrilling vibe, my target audience being thrill seekers.
The various changes then meant that I had to create a new site map and wireframes. However they turned out much better as I was overcomplicating my website and the processes, both for myself and from a users perspective. My new sitemap doesn’t include a login or sign up page as the experience is more of a one off experience. I also decided to add the option to book for yourself or for others, which then directs you to different areas on the website instead of searching for the option in the navigation bar. I also decided to get rid of the filter option on my website because it wasn’t needed as I narrowed down my target audience to just adults and through signing up you could get deals and offers. This has made my task much easier since its my first time creating a website.
