This Thursday morning I had my second HTML workshop. After having the first session I felt quite confident today and more comfortable with asking questions and adding input throughout the session. Today we were taught how the placement of text can be altered, as well as the size and colour of it when the cursor hovers over it. In the workshop I also learnt how to change the name of the tab, in which I called mine ‘Anything’ as I didn’t know what to call it and the tutor said you could call it anything.

I still sometimes make the mistake of misspelling ‘color’ as colour which made me confused as to why the colour didn’t change. I often got slightly annoyed because after rechecking my code, looking for any typos or places where I had missed any characters, it was just a simple spelling mistake. I know now for future reference to alway spell it the American way, avoiding any confusion!

I didn’t get the 20 minutes at the end of the workshop to experiment further as I had to leave early, however after gaining confidence through this workshop, I would like to try and play around with the software in my own time as well as use w3schools to increase my knowledge.
