A Freelance UX designer, working in both UX and UI, eventually becoming a UX consultant. They suggest greatly preparation for interviews, scripting what they want to convey and learn during interviews, while also being attentive to body language. They stress maintaining good eye contact and creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved to avoid bias during interviews.
Throughout their talk we were given advice which included making the most of meeting and interviews, testing products before going live, and listening to users over personal opinions. They advocate for open feedback, valuing informal advice, and confidently discussing salary expectations.
A comment he made during the talk that stood out to me was ‘Solve a problem, Do not put out a problem’!
