With hand-in quickly coming up, most of my time is being spent ensuring I have all of the elements ready for my submission. Last week, I finished up on my actual essay however, I completed the annotated bibliography during this week.

Furthermore, my portfolio site started to be developed even more and I started to fill it with information on my projects and also myself.

An important task I completed during this week was the creation of the mobile view of Mushi. I really enjoyed this process and I’m happy with the final outcome – I feel the final product looks colourful and clean, both of which are things I wanted to achieve within my design.

Something I’m especially proud of from the prototype is the functioning burger menu (pictured above) – once again I experimented with transitions and prototyping in order to create this element. However, it paid off, as I feel the burger menu is very effective and fits with the rest of the site well. After completing the mobile version, I double checked the desktop version and realised that, although I had made components with different properties (for the buttons), I had not linked any of them – so for example, non of the hover states were triggered when the mouse went over the button. So I obviously ensured that all of these were fixed, and I once again am very happy with the final result – especially to say how much I disliked it when I first designed it at the start of the unit.
