This follows on from project 2 & 3 Figma reflection as I wanted to go back and look through my Figma journey in more depth within this project alone.

Whole of my Figma file

My Figma file had quite a lot in it as i’d designed wireframes, low fidelity and high fidelity all in the same file. I did this so I could progress each stage further and further until I got to the final outcome. This part of using the software I really enjoyed as its really easy to put images and text onto the boards.

Website design boards

I made several screens for my website to be able to fit all of the information on and have it organised so that its easy for users to look at all the experience options before booking.

Making Buttons

Making components / Buttons

Designing buttons was also quite an easy process as I knew what I needed and how they needed to look to go on the website. The real struggles I faced was from trying to get some buttons to work, for example the counter button I had a slight mishap with which was where I had the set variable in the ‘else’ section instead of the ‘if’ you can see the correct format below. This slight error took me a while to fix as with still not being experienced with the software I was very confused on what the error was as it was just a slight change.

Editing Pages

Booking page

For my booking pages I changed where some of the buttons to book were as the calendar was to wide for my initial design idea to work. Then I changed to having the block of buttons go down the side at the top of the page for easy access for users. The set of buttons for the booking process fit so much better down the side of the page. I could have easily changed the size of the calendar instead of having to adjust everything but I wanted it to stay as the size I first designed as it’s a good size for being on desktop.
