This is probably the research I have stressed the most, since I have low experience in the subject given, I felt hard to understand in the first place. I unfortunately missed loads of sessions due to my personal reasons, affecting my mental health gradually the following weeks coming up.
The brief for this follows by this: Develop a body of generative research relating to a problem space withing the theme of sustainability that will inform the practical work undertaken in parts 2 and 3 of the Design for Good project.
While living back in my country, sustainability is not much seen around and this not helped me in understand the true concepts behind this project. Getting information regarding this problem where really massive, starting from understanding the various problems regarding air pollution cause more than 10 of people’s death each year. Thus is implied by the huge amount of CO2 emitted in the air causing lung and cardiovascular deseases.
While reading the brief, apart from the standard methods of research when it comes to get information, I found interesting in interviewing my friend Jack Fendley, he is a master student and researcher in UEA, specialized in Biochemestry and Biomedice. This was a good link to talk about this situation and get as much information as possible. The video can be seen inside the submission folder, where I have got loads of points regarding the excessive amount of greenhouse gasses released. Along with, the lack of interest by the government in order to reduce this problem where is been talked for quite a while. This in fact, has got people to loose interest and determination. This point brings to my interviews, where I have notice that most of the people are not being informed or even worse not particulary interest in the subject.
For my research I specialized in research more about the problem regarding the carbon footprint emission and how people could fix that. Since I mentioned earlier that people are uninterested in this topic, the only way to bring people back is to use the most common source achievable, giving people a litlle amount of cashback for every project they help sustain and build.
Followed by this I will implement my Miro link so you see the project more in detail:
