Overview of experience website requirements
For my third project in this unit, I’ll be designing a website to promote and allow booking for a unique hands-on experience. The goal is to apply my knowledge of web UI patterns and interaction design principles to create an engaging, conversion-focused site.
The brief specifies that I should choose a physical experience like a pop-up exhibition or dining event, and identify a specific theme and audience. Some examples are food & drink for eco-warriors, natural world for thrill seekers, or science for gamers.
My website needs to clearly communicate what the experience entails, how it works logistically, and enable users to book and customize it to their needs. This will require well-designed pages and elements for activities like selecting options, entering information, and processing payments.
To ensure credibility, I’ll utilize contemporary web design standards and patterns. But I also want to inject creativity through visuals, copywriting, and interactivity that brings the theme to life for my target audience.
I’m looking forward to crafting an innovative website that blends form and function to both inform and excite users about the unique experience I’ll be promoting.
