Editing the slides
Unfortunately, when I woke up this morning I saw that the slides that Mad’s and I had made had been changed. This was pretty disheartening for us both, and we both said (in response to this) that we would have rather had the individual discuss with us that they have some ideas for improvement, rather than just taking on the job themselves. I put a message into our team group-chat discussing my feelings towards this, and the individual was sorry.
The slides that had been edited did fit better with the branding now however, unlike the last slides (that Mads and I made) they are quite unreadable now due to the lack of contrast, and they feel pretty busy – which I worry will be a distraction when presenting.
On the group-chat, we came to an agreement that I could make the changes I felt were necessary. I only really added boarders and changed the alignment of the text within the text boxes, along with some other minor edits. Although these are only small changes, I felt that they elevated the design more and helped with the readability – which of course for a presentation is critical.

On this slide I edited:
- The colour of the text box to create more contrast from the background.
- Increased the weight of the text to help readability
- Also moved the text box to the centre
- Added white strokes around the edges of the images, to stop them from blending into the background
