Below are my notes from Larkins lecture:
AKQA/ World Gold Council
- What’s the site for -> Rank the site content in order of importance for business
- Compare now and what the site could look like in the future
- What is site focussed on now and where could it be?
Use a scale:
Easy to find what looking for ………….(to)….huh, where do I go?
- Decide who the site is for – pick one persona, even if tricky
What works for Larkin
- Figma structured chronologically
- Have context – look up acronyms and use them when talking to the business (brownie points)
- Have the sheet to always fall back on when designing
- Collect existing research – good for referral
- Deliverables – have a to-do list to complete for a specific date
