Figma
At the start of this week we had an introductory Figma workshop, which involved looking at some demo projects and designing a padlock and switch as an animated prototype.

Although I am already quite familiar with Figma, the workshop was a helpful refresher and required me to use some tools such as the pen tool which I hadn’t used in a while.
HTML
Later in the week, a HTML focused workshop introduced us to HTML and CSS. I had a very simple understanding of HTML beforehand, and no experience with CSS, so to start with the basics was beneficial.

After getting a basic site working with an index.html file, I also successfully made and linked a CSS style sheet, which was more challenging than HTML but I understood it the more I practiced with it.

Using CSS to specify colour, font weight and size, I made a very basic but functional page, as shown below!
