From my Design For Good project I chose to focus on the sustainability area of public transport and private transport. Part of project was to conduct an expert interview which I chose to reach out to FirstBus as I felt they would have a great insight into public transport and how the public responds to their app. This would hopefully then give me some insight on what I need for my prototype to successful.
When I first reached out to First Bus I tried to contact Janette Bell who is the known manager of the company. I thought with her expertise this could be a good opportunity for the project. However she was on annual leave which meant I got the opportunity to speak to the app and manager of digital products.
This was a fantastic opportunity as I was able to discus future plans for the app and how successful it has been since it was released.
