This week we got given our first brief from a company instead of the university, which was quite interesting as we had to follow certain guidelines and had less freedom. Of course we had freedom when we designed but usually we got to chose our own typography and colour palette however it was nice to have that already known.
After the brief we choose our groups which was quite complicated with discussions of classmates not wanting to work with others. My group members asked me to join their group as they wanted to work together for a change as we hadn’t worked closely before.
The first two weeks did make me realise my way of working is different from others, for example some people create a to-do list and stick by it every day. I tend to work better getting my work done for a timeline and targets but without a to-do list as I tend to pressure myself too much if tasks don’t get completed.

Our group decided it would be best for us to create deadlines for certain pieces of work to ensure we were getting the work done and at a good pace. This was in the planning Miro board. The research Miro board is where all of our research work for Virgin Wines was displayed in individual sections.
These two weeks we really did focus on getting as much research done as possible. We had thoughts of completing user tests of the Virgin Wines website over our three week break. Therefore we did have some research work left over for us to complete on our weeks off.
Before having our few weeks off we did plan that all of us would come back with low fidelity and user tests completed.
