This week I focused on typing up my subject matter interviews and analysing the user interviews. For project 2, I certainly analysed my user testing videos for my experience website in a unique way. This was because I took screenshots, adding them to the Miro board and added post-it notes to each user test. However I have learnt my lesson and found a much easier way to analyse and assess the user outcomes for each video. Using Descript, I was able to import my files and it would identify the speaker and create a transcript. I found the method to be much easier and less time consuming, ensuring more time to focus on other aspects of project 4 I had to catch up on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To my project 4 research Miro board, I did some affinity mapping. Although affinity mapping was really time consuming, I was able to properly analyse peoples answers and allowed me to understand how common certain issues were and if people had similar perspectives and opinions on sustainability and the impact it can have, both now and in the future. The surprising thing that really solidified my problem area was that from my user interviews, the interviewees either hadn’t heard of an eco friendly cafe or coffee shop or come across one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After last weeks discussion with Rob, I came to the realisation that certifications and policies would be good to conduct some research into. As my app if for eco friendly and sustainable cafes and coffee shops, it is important that there is a level of trust between user\/app and the customer\/cafe as a result of greenwashing. This gave me an insight into what else my app could feature to make this process easier for users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
