This uncertainty resulted from no definite direction and ignorance about multifaceted aspects of organizing a good usability study. It was at this point of despair that I came across a video tutorial by NN, which completely altered my perspective on usability testing.<br>NN\u2019s video tutorial is phenomenal. From planning stages to implementing and assessing the results of tests, it provides a whole set of instructions covering every aspect of usability testing process. In fact, it is not just like any ordinary tutorial as it goes beyond basics to explain what makes tests effective and efficient in capturing user experience. No one can say that the step-by-step guide offered here was not easy to follow making conducting such type of test seem less daunting than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armed with new knowledge and insights taken from the tutorial, I felt myself ready for preparing for the usability tests again. I thoroughly created well-structured participant tasks ensuring that each had a purposeful design aimed at revealing different aspects related to product\u2019s usability. These tasks were accompanied with specific points to observe as well as questions used for extracting deeper information concerning users\u2019 experiences while interacting with their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The preparation phase played a major role in facilitating an effective usability testing session. The materials I developed based on NN\u2019s guide served me as pointers throughout all examination stages. They prompted me to carry out these tests orderly so that any information collected could be meaningful and actionable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end what initially appeared as a daunting challenge transformed into a structured and insightful process, thanks to the guidance provided by NN&#8217;s video tutorial. The experience emphasized the value of seeking out helpful resources such as NN\u2019s video tutorials that can be used for improving understanding and going about usability testing.
