The collaborative project with Virgin Wines provided us with valuable industry insights. Working closely with the client not only enriched my design approach but also deepened my understanding of the industry. Through weekly meetings, analytical assessments, and feedback sessions, we were able to achieve optimal results. Understanding the client’s needs, desires, and pain points was instrumental in crafting solutions that genuinely met their requirements. This project highlighted the diverse skill sets within our team, allowing us to allocate tasks accordingly. It was a valuable lesson in effective collaboration with a variety of stakeholders to reach shared objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I enjoyed working with my group and consider myself a cooperative individual. I like to contribute ideas, especially when I’m passionate about them, but I’m also open to taking advice and allowing others to lead in areas where I lack confidence or expertise. Through my research, I’ve discovered a love for fieldwork and engaging with people. My experience working on the Virgin Wines project was particularly enlightening and inspiring, enhancing my collaboration skills. Additionally, my current job experience has equipped me with the ability to lead a team and respond constructively to criticism and improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a group we recognised the need to improve the consistency of our work and our ability to meet deadlines. Throughout the project, our team struggled with maintaining cohesion, especially as we approached the final stages. While this didn’t significantly impact our overall outcomes, it did hinder our personal progress. Ensuring that our contributions remain steady and timely is crucial, and we recognize the importance of better coordination within the team to achieve a more seamless workflow. Moving forward, we aim to enhance our time management skills and work consistently to contribute more effectively to future projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group project instilled in us a strong sense of responsibility, as we felt committed to not letting our team down. This sense of duty motivated us to complete our assigned tasks and contribute to the project’s overall progress. One key element that helped us stay focused was our shared research board, which allowed us to exchange feedback promptly and take immediate action based on that input, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
