The BSc2b group began with a joint project that aimed at Virgin Wines by renovating the About Us, Events page and Checkout experience. We created groups and quickly assigned tasks while setting up a schedule that gave priority to each member\u2019s strengths. I personally used this chance to sharpen my researching skills. Our process was then started by doing heuristic evaluations, building user flows. During ideation, I found it very interesting to refine checkout process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a team we were able to carry out an effective heuristic evaluation of Virgin Wines which articulated issues on the Events, About Us and Checkout pages. In our redesigning we are faced with the problem of unclear headings and repetitive links that often led users to the same pages or even wrong destinations. Our aim is therefore about simple yet attractive pages having more direct texts which clearly tells users what they should do as intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion with our heuristic analysis of these pages, key priorities plus problems were identified collectively with associated proposed solutions. When going through those pages as analyzed by us there was no motion\/animation for engaging users in any way. Secondly, categorisation of information was unclear while visual imagery was deficient which are areas we aim to improve in our further redesign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
