It was quite an experience creating the \u201cElectric Appetite\u201d website as it helped me gain a better understanding of designing experience website. At the beginning, I took too long to make up my mind about things, which stopped me from moving forward. It was difficult for me to select suitable colours, style and general feel of the site that I wanted to create but I could not bring myself to life specifically via colour scheme, images and proportions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To resolve this, I incorporated some elements from my personal brief to help guide the design towards what I imagined for \u201cElectric Appetite\u201d. Beginning with desktop version instead of working on mobile version came out as a right choice in terms of making something unique on my website through bold and bright colors. However, there is now an awareness that because another project was also underway, usability testing had been given no attention. In case I had been more organized with time management, probably more comprehensive usability tests would have been done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, developing Electric Appetite was a process that revealed both my strengths as well as areas requiring improvement. The concept of decisiveness while sticking to what has already been agreed upon and balancing aesthetics with aspects like ease of use became apparent. Coming projects will benefit from these discoveries by ensuring that visually appealing experiences are created side by side with functional user-friendly ones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
