During the workshop, we were introduced to the VR headset Meta Quest 2. Following a brief introduction and presentation on 3D drawing, we had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with and try out the capabilities of this innovative technology. The main purpose of the workshop was to encourage us to incorporate VR capabilities into our own designs. Personally, I had a lot of fun. Although drawing is not my strongest suit, I enjoyed transitioning into the 3D metaverse and letting my imagination run wild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"568\" height=\"729\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/robert-besala\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/9781350258563.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-205\" style=\"width:673px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/robert-besala\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/9781350258563.jpg 568w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/robert-besala\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/9781350258563-234x300.jpg 234w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/robert-besala\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/9781350258563-117x150.jpg 117w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 568px) 100vw, 568px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by the capabilities of the headset, I have added a new title to my reading list: &#8220;The Principles and Process of Interactive Design&#8221; by Jamie Stein, to enrich my research. The workshop inspired me to explore interactive design. Considering the ever-changing UX design trends, I can see how this will transform the way we perceive internet content. Already, static design is being replaced by parallax scrolling interactions, mobile devices are using AR features, and there are personalized interactions with rapidly growing AI.
