It was a long lonely night on the calm waters of night until I spotted a light. wait. is that a second light? A third!? A fourth! FIVE! Five ships were sailing my way with stories and insights to share with me and hopefully, they will guide me to my next location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I conducted user interviews with these five kind sailors who were willing to tell me their tales. Luckily enough before meeting these lovely individuals, I had met with a seasoned sailor named Steffen Kautz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I took part in a hackathon called Sync the City where I met Steffen Kautz of User Story, who also just happened to be an alumnus of Norwich University of the Arts. This along with one of my team members Ewa Orczyowska who was working with User Story at the time gave me a foot in the door for a taster day at User Story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During my time at User Story Steffen Kautz mentored me shortly and helped me level up the interview questions I had prepared before sailing off. You can see in the Miro board the evolution of the interview questions but needless to say they were brutal. Finally on my sixth attempt at writing questions Steffen approved. With this, I had a new tool in my belt and I was ready for these five sailors who were headed my way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Online shopping is more convenient
3. Making things at home allows for flexibility
Pain Points
1. People don’t enjoy food shopping
2. Price deters from ordering food
3. Buying for one person is a hard task
4. Most overbuy produce
5. Short expiry dates
Well, how can I implement this?
1. Offer the ability to order select amounts of produce. This will make it easier for solo\u2002consumers
2. Varied Veg options will help keep the home cooking experience fun
3. If we bring the convenience that food delivery had to veg it would lower the barrier to entry of ordering food as it will be cheaper
4. If I could offer local freshly sourced veg it would have the longest life on it(maybe the answer is wonky veg?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
