I look around myself and see nothing but. wait. What’s that? I must have overslept and found myself in the eye of the storm. But what’s that I see in the distance; a gap in the storm. A gap called Meal kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meal kit sector provided me with a lot of valuable information and data. Previous research found meals(home-made and pre-prepared) were one of the most wasted items in an average UK household so it wasn’t an avenue I had considered until an idea hit. What if people could have Veg delivered to their door very similar to meal kits? This would avoid the bigger waste which is meals and help still help reduce the carbon emission of the logistical supply chain that supermarkets have to deal with. Well, let’s start sailing towards the research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the sail through the gap, I found these pieces of information(most relevant).
1.More Young Millenials and Genz were buying meal kits more than ever
2.The main reason for quitting a meal kit was price
3.Subscriptions models were enjoyed because of not having to remember about payments
4.Home delivery was the biggest draw towards product subscriptions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leaving the gap and the storm I see clear skies and clear waves. With a new plan for my app in mind. A vegetable box delivery system that would reduce carbon from emissions, help people from overbuying, and even my target audience! Well, Ill be dammed! Audience\u2002Ahoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
