This is probably the most important job of the project. However, I really didn’t play much of a role in it. We had a discussion about the presentation, and what we could talk about, but because the testing I did wasn’t really relevant, and prototyping really isn’t worth talking about in a sales pitch, we decided that I would stay focused on finishing up the design while the three who headed each section would talk about it. For example, I know I’ve been working on the checkout for a while, but the original design and accordion style were designed by Harry & Mara, who were much better able to speak about design decisions rather than small details. This approach worked really well.
So, what was my hand in the presentation?

My role in the presentation was to click the next slide. The only part of this I had to get down was timing with the script, but Harry supported me during the presentation with the script on hand to prompt me when needed. Along with a checkout flow demonstration, I gave during Mara’s talking points about it.
I felt bad for them doing the work for the presentation along with not talking myself. I wanted to seize the opportunity for growth, but I was so unable to talk as well as the others for each section that it just made sense, as we really wanted to put our best foot forward.
