Started basic outlines of what the app store images will look like.
User tests this week left me feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Honestly, this was one of the trickiest weeks by far. I felt dejected and wasn’t sure how to move forward with simplifying (especially since I had just spent all of the previous weeks making it something complex). I understand the the point of simplifying, but I think understanding and accepting are two different things. But, I do know this is all a part of the learning process, so I will take a day away from the app this weekend and come back to it with a fresh brain ready for change the following week.
On a separate note, I have been continuing to read my book about Venice which prompted me with an app ideas. One: How have we crafted alternative tours (to counter those that are big money makers, often not caring about marginalised or smaller historical parts, etc). How could those alt tours be made even more…considered and relevant to issues today? Two: How can we help boats trying to bring refugees from warn-torn countries? We often forget the impact of migration on sustainability…
