We had to prepare for a presentation to Virgin Wines while completing our designs and prototyping, which felt overwhelming. We focused mainly on the presentation to ensure everyone knew their parts and that we were ready to present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our group members added to the stress when she announced she wouldn&#8217;t be at the presentation because she was going to a concert in Glasgow. Not only did we have to cover her slides, but she also stopped contributing to the presentation once she knew she wouldn&#8217;t be attending. This meant I had to take over her work, writing her script and preparing her slides, which significantly increased my workload. This was especially challenging for me, as I already struggle with public speaking, and this added pressure made it even more nerve-wracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In hindsight, I should have been more direct and asked her to at least prepare her part of the presentation, even if she couldn&#8217;t attend. It was a group project, and her lack of contribution felt unfair and disrespectful to the rest of us. Despite this issue, we didn&#8217;t let it slow us down and continued to work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation went well, though I was very nervous. It was a relief to get through it, and I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Reflecting on the presentation, I think I could improve by looking up more from my flashcards to connect better with the audience, but that&#8217;s something I can work on for future presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the week ended on a positive note. After the presentation, we got to do some wine tasting, which was fun and interesting, even though I don&#8217;t like ros\u00e9 or red wine. The best part?
