Embarking on this project, I found myself grappling with the challenge of defining the ideal feel and aesthetic for the video. Aiming for a harmonious blend of the colour palette without venturing into overly vibrant territories, I steered away from excessive colours, acknowledging their potential off-putting nature in a video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To gather inspiration for the demo video, I immersed myself in the world of well-known apps’ demo videos on YouTube. Apps such as Instagram, DuoLingo, Snapchat, and Yummly became my virtual mentors, guiding me through their conventions, speed, tone of voice, and stylisation. Analysing these giants allowed me to grasp the essence of demo videos and App Store images while seeking inspiration for my own creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DuoLingo particularly caught my attention as it resonated most with the tone I envisioned for my app. I aimed for a video that echoed a fun and colloquial tone, creating an inviting and entertaining atmosphere, aligning with the overall vibe I wished to convey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For App Store image research, I turned my gaze to Instagram on the Apple App Store, seeking insights from this widely-used app. This exploration provided valuable groundwork, offering a clear direction for crafting compelling and effective images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
