Consequently, I was unable to receive feedback from Dave during the week, instilling a sense of concern about whether I was progressing on the right path. The focus of this week centred on the development of projects 5 and 6, specifically the design of the application and the initiation of work on the demo video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the app design, significant headway was made as I had a clear vision of its aesthetic and layout. Executing this vision became an enjoyable task, allowing me to witness my conceptualisations materialise and explore opportunities for innovative enhancements. Notably, I opted to deviate from the initial green secondary colour scheme, integrating the yellow hue from the bee imagery into the app&#8217;s buttons. This subtle adjustment both highlighted the buttons and cleverly incorporated the bee theme without being overly conspicuous. I find great satisfaction in this modification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concerning the demo video, my focus was on synchronising timings and clip transitions with the musical beat. However, a realisation dawned upon me: the duration of each frame on-screen needed meticulous consideration. Some words were displayed for insufficient durations when presenting to others, a nuance I overlooked due to my familiarity with the content after multiple viewings. Rectifying this issue proved to be a somewhat vexing process, as altering one element necessitated adjustments to the entire video&#8217;s timing, transforming it into a protracted endeavour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week featured a lecture by Neville Brody, which, unfortunately, I found to be the least engaging of the year. The lack of perceived passion from the speaker made it challenging for me to fully immerse myself in the content. My tendency for distraction when a presentation lacks engagement further compounded this challenge. Moreover, the lecture&#8217;s divergence from topics relevant to my course exacerbated my difficulty in maintaining focus, making it my least favoured lecture this academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In summary, despite my absence from the Monday session, the week proved to be successful.
