This week was the last week of term before Christmas!! YAYYYY!! So, despite feeling a strong need for a break, I dedicated myself to focused work, striving to accomplish as much as possible in preparation for the Christmas holidays. Recently, I’ve faced challenges with my mental health, impacting my motivation for work. However, I remained determined to complete my tasks to a high standard, committed to working diligently until the final day of term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week proved quite productive as I successfully wrapped up Project 4 and primarily focused on wire framing and ideation for Project 5. I ventured into using my iPad Pro for wireframing, a tool I hadn’t utilised before, and it proved remarkably effective for creating initial sketches. These sketches were then transformed into proper low-fidelity wireframes on Figma. I thoroughly enjoyed this process, relishing the opportunity to design an app that I had researched and conceptualised personally. Witnessing the project gradually take shape felt immensely rewarding. Additionally, I allocated some time to continue working on my 3000-word essay. However, I find myself exceeding the word count, and I plan to address this in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were fortunate to have a lecture from Magpie Studio, delivered by two accomplished women, one of whom is a graduate from Norwich \u2013 a detail that resonated with me and proved particularly inspiring. They shared insights into their career journeys and showcased some of their impressive work. I appreciated this lecture not only for its valuable content but also for the opportunity to hear from female professionals. Given that the majority of lecturers are men, having women present their work was enlightening, and the high quality of the work they showcased only enhanced the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, this week was quite overwhelming as I have a lot of work to do, but I am just taking it step by step and completing it at a rate I feel comfortable with. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
