Following this lecture I took inspiration from their creative and empathetic design and considered how they&#8217;ve used UI\/UX in interesting and new ways going beyond the styles and techniques we learn in Bsc2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nomad, being a team of 27+ designers have grown in recent years, now working with large scale brands and companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_4081.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-344\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hayu: Amplify the Everyday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nomad were tasked with redesigning the Hayu brand to bring a fresh, exciting and fun meaning to the streaming service matching the fun reality tv content of the streaming platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From this project, the stand out feature of the rebrand was the use of the Hayu &#8216;H&#8217; to hold content and bring content forward, as to not make the Hayu brand a sticker over its contents but a living frame to bring contents forward while retaining the visual identity of the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nomadstudio.com\/_next\/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fnomadstudio.ams3.digitaloceanspaces.com%2Fimages%2FWork-Case-Studies%2FHayu%2Fhayu-case-h-technical-details.gif&amp;w=3840&amp;q=75\" alt=\"hayu-case-h-technical-details\" style=\"width:651px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The variable Hayu &#8216;H&#8217;<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The way they applied this &#8216;H&#8217; in a creative way stood out to me and reminded me to remember the &#8216;Smile in the mind&#8217; style of thinking within my UX Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/unnamed-file-2.mov\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Application of the animated Hayu &#8216;H&#8217;<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, a topic from the Hayu project that stood out to me was during the transition phases of implementing the Hayu rebrand, Nomad generated a series of After Effects templates usable by in-house Hayu. I appreciated the efforts of Nomad to include creative coding into the rebrand and use creative coding in this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pets at home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a rebrand I have personally followed, it was intriguing to hear about it from the people that played a key role in designing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-1024x575.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-1024x575.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-768x431.png 768w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-1536x863.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.nua-ux.design\/kai-payne\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-2-2048x1151.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nomad&#8217;s work focused on creating a consistent brand identity, from refreshing the typography to tone of voice and UI\/UX Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From a UX perspective, Costa talked about creating natural Email communication with customers by working with an illustrator called Hannah Warren.
