I was in charge of the what to expect page and making it joyful. My first idea was to use lots of images to show what the event is like so customers visually know what to expect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We later decided not to go with this idea because the designs did not fit with the rest of the pages and looked slightly out of place. We still followed my idea of adding a lot of images because we all felt that it was important to show users what they look like rather than having generic images of the location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also thought about creating an interactive element where users would hover over an option and the information would show on that specific question. We also decided to change this because again it didn’t feel like it went with the rest of the designs and would not work as well on mobile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was my second attempt at what the page would look like where I used more colour. The background contains an animated blur effect where it changes and moves whilst you are on the page. We also changed a few things like the continuous all capitalised text as this was not accessible so to fix this problem we removed it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did not end up going for this idea because again it did not suit with the rest of the designs and some of the illustrations did not suit the others on the page. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Me and Saalihah designed the events pages with us both thinking about colours, illustrations and images. I focussed on illustrations and images so that users had visually appealing objects to look at whilst on the page. Saalihah focussed on the colour side of the page and the content of it. We did not end up going for this yellow as I decided that it would be best to stick to the red throughout all the designs for consistency so users do not get confused. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We played around a lot with colour, we looked at their colour scheme and tried multiple different attempts. We tried a lot of pink but in the end I pointed out that it didn’t really suit the brand as it made it look a little bit like a flower shop or something quite feminine when wine was not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why we ended on going for a deep red colour to make all the pages look elegant and that they are targeted at the right age audience (35+)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
