For this personal planning folder we were asked to create a CV, look at different, studios, agency’s and UX designers to think about our future in the industry and start contacting these people as well as a cover letter.

I really enjoyed doing this because it made me think more about the future and what it could look like if I were to work with certain people.

I have been in contact with a UX design named Beth-May Leddra-Chapman who is a massive inspiration to me. She used to be based in Colchester where I visited her and picked her brain to understand how she and her team work together to create and succeed. I saw how her and her clients relationships worked and how she time framed different projects.

When creating my CV and my cover letter I had what I had seen her do in mind. I know that CVs can look quite boring which is why people more look at portfolios as they properly showcase work and more.

I chose to speak in a way that shows I know what I am talking about when it comes to UX in my cover letter so that it gives a good impressions and shows people that I am serious about my career and am open to any available opportunity.
