When entering our miro board and setting up boards for each page, we decided to split up so two people would be working on a page of the website each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screens we needed to research were the About Us, Events and the Checkout. Me and Lizzy decided to work on the About Us research together while Emily and Saalihah researched the events. For the checkout we all did bits of research and split it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first topic of research we did was a ‘containing’ board, which is where we put screenshots and post itsto describe what the page involved and the contents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A user flow was completed right at the beginning to get an idea of how users go through the information displayed. We looked through parts of the screen and declared where the pains, positives and questions were.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then took this and created an heuristic markup. The website is on mobile and desktop so most of out research included screenshots of both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the heuristic markup we worked on the heuristic analysis. This meant identifying where Jakobs Ten Usablility Heurisitics had been used throughout the screen on both mobile and desktop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then went and researched into direct and indirect competitors and analysed them using this chart. We did an overview, looked into popularity, fitting to conventions, pros, cons and general notes and opinions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did an infinity map to give us a good idea of what needed to change from the old design from Virgin Wines to our new design. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
